I've decided to create this blog to provide a glimpse into the world of Grace Kellie Photography, and an idea of what life is like on the other side of the camera.
First of all, I suppose I should start with a bit of information about me and how Grace Kellie Photography came about…
My name is Kellie, and I'm a mother of two beautiful children, Grace and Hunter, who most certainly inspired my love for photography.
When I had my daughter Grace, now aged 11, I couldn’t stop taking photographs of her; capturing her every emotion and looking back on them all the time to reflect and appreciate how much she’d grown and changed.
My hobby soon grew, and I started taking photographs of my nieces and nephews, appreciating that all parents need to capture these special memories. And in 2014 I took a giant leap and became self-employed as a photographer, creating Grace Kellie Photography.
Grace Kellie Photography focuses on new born and children’s photography predominantly, however I also do plenty of family portraits and mum-to-be photography, and I’m always keen to try new ideas.
The approach behind Grace Kellie Photography is to capture personalities not pictures; ensuring that every photo shoot is tailored around the specific child and family, with styling and themes that bring their character to life.
